The person behind the care

My journey toward becoming a doula began with my fascination by birth, the female body, and motherhood.
Growing up in an eastern European household, with my grandma, and even great grandma, around, I felt firsthand the magical energy that comes with mamas helping other mamas: the kitchen buzzing with smells of food (medicine), stories of birth and motherhood, and that inherent feeling of community that we all derive from!
I'm here to offer that same feeling of support and nourishment to all birthing people and parents. We all deserve to feel held during this time of deep self-transformation, all while welcoming in a little one into our lives.
My approach to birth and postpartum work is compassionate, nourishing, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally responsive, and I strive to centre community and advocacy with everything I do.
